Burgess Hall offers a variety of rooms to suit your event, ensuring you find the perfect space for your needs. For larger gatherings, you can exclusively hire the entire venue, making full use of every available area.
Upon arrival, guests will enter a spacious reception foyer. This versatile space also serves as a convenient registration area or an extension for exhibitions, ensuring high visibility for additional stands. Cloakroom facilities can be arranged upon request.

Main Hall
The fully air-conditioned Main Hall is designed for flexibility, accommodating up to:
- 500 guests in a theatre-style setup
- 350 guests for dining
- A large number of exhibitions stands
For adaptable use, the under-balcony area can be partitioned with optional curtains. The main stage serves as a striking focal point for conferences and events, with additional staging available if needed. It is equipped with a 12ft projector screen and optional drop-down 9ft screens with projectors on either side. A full PA system and professional lighting, including optional moving spotlights, create a dynamic atmosphere—perfect for award ceremonies and special presentations. Enhanced technical support is available upon request to ensure seamless execution.
Additional features include
- Two private bars – one located on the ground floor under the balcony and another on the second floor, ensuring convenient access to refreshments.
- A patio area – accessible from under the balcony, offering an outdoor breakout space.

Held our School Careers Fair here in January 2025. Before the event the organisation and attention to detail was excellent thank you to Stacie and on the day the support from Gregor was amazing with nothing too much trouble.
We have held the MAFVA Nationals Model Show at Burgess Hall since 2016 and have always found the staff very helpful, both before and during the event. It is a great venue for our show and as they put out tables and chairs before the event our life is very easy. If you are holding a similar show I can highly recommend this venue.
Great venue, management and staff are first class and extremely helpful, communicative and accommodating - definitely go the extra mile to make your event run smoothly.
